Kensington College of Business

The Kensington College of Business acts as a London location for several leading British universities: University of Glamorgan, University of Sunderland, the University of London and the University of Portsmouth. This set up offers students the opportunity to study their most popular degree courses in central London, whilst still reaping the inherent benefits of being registered at that university. In addition to this, Kensington College of Business also prepares students for leading professional qualifications, as well as offering university foundation courses in place of A levels.
Kensington College of Business has a long and distinguished record of safeguarding young students and developing their talents. There are starts for all courses at least twice a year, in September and January, and the college welcomes students from all round the world. Tuition fees begin at around £2,500 per year.
The college considers personal supervision a priority, and as such is dedicated to just a limited range of honours degrees and foundation degrees. These centre on business studies, marketing, accounting, computing and law. More details are available at www.kensingtoncoll.ac.uk, where students will find a wide range of courses, from University MBA or MSC to Foundation courses, with a range of university degrees, a HND and professional qualifications.

Courses

The MBA degree is a one-year course from one of the UK's top business schools. The pinnacle of achievement for those seeking the highest business qualification, the MBA is open to students with a first degree or equivalent. The college also runs a pre-MBA course.
The University of Glamorgan's honours degrees, in either Business Studies or Marketing, usually involve three years of study. Credit is sometimes given however, for qualifications students may already hold. There is a unique 'dovetailing' between professional courses and degrees at the college. Students with the Diploma of the Chartered Institute of Marketing for example, are qualified to continue with the MBA.
The college's Law School offers a unique choice to prospective students, providing places on some of the best-known law degrees, such as those offered by the University of London. Students can study for a diploma in Law, which is completed in year one, before proceeding to degree year two, meaning they will achieve both a university diploma and a degree by the end of their course. In order to qualify for these or a full range of degrees in 19 universities across the UK, the college offers the University Foundation Course, an excellent and well-recognised alternative to the traditional A level exams, which is completed in one year. The college can now make provision for young people to progress from their GCSE's to an honours degree, and students can avoid the usual uncertainty in degree course applications by simply contacting the registrar directly.
Research work is important during study, so students here enjoy unlimited access to the college computers and the internet.
In addition to the degree courses on offer, Kensington College of Business also run a full range of specialist professional qualifications, such as those of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, the Chartered Institute of Marketing and various business management qualifications. They also offer important professional qualifications in Computer and Information Systems or Travel and Tourism. Both these qualifications enable students to then progress to the third and final year of the appropriate degree.
Our courses and/or facilities have been inspected and/or approved by professional associations, universities, employers and students worldwide. Student Story

Bob Jah, Gambia
“I began by studying ABE and the most enjoyable part of my study was the Advanced Diploma stage. It is at this part that I gained the most inspiration and courage to progress to studying business, the enjoyment of which has been increasing since I progressed to study the BA (Hons) Business and Administration degree with the University of Glamorgan followed by an international master’s of Business and Administration (MBA) degree, all at KCB. There is a unique ‘dovetailing’ between professional courses and degrees here. Besides my pathway through ABE, another example of the ‘dovetailing’ here provides students with the foundation degree in Business and Accounting, gained to allow progression to the higher levels of professional accounting qualifications like the ACCA. The college can also arrange six months of work experience”.
